Water treatment by Dyson Insulations
In order to keep you central heating and boiler working efficiently you need to ensure your radiators and pipework are clean on the inside. Having a Power flush or other water treatment can also prevent your boiler from breaking down. A Powerflush will also reduce any cold spots in your radiators due to the build up of debris in your system.
The system is drained by one of our engineers and then connected to a Powerflush Machine.
The system is then flushed with the use of cleaning agents and special chemicals to prevent corrosion and build up of debris. It takes about 5 to 8 hours dependant on the size of your central heating system.
Corrosion within the central heating system creates iron oxide which can cause sludge build up. This in turn leads to loss of efficiency and cold spots in radiators and reduces the life of a boiler, even a small build up of iron oxide can result in efficiency loss and fuel wastage.

The MagnaClean® or Fernox TF1 can be fitted onto the pipework of the system and captures the iron oxide. It's easy to install and lasts the the lifetime of your boiler. Our surveyor will advise you on which product suits your needs best.
