Disability Benefits for the Warm Front Grant

If the client is 59 or under, they will need the disability premium for Income Support, Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit. If the client is 60 or over, they will not require the disability premium for these benefits.

Working Tax Credit plus Disability Premium, with an income of Less than £15,460
Child Tax Credit with an income of Less than £15,460
Attendance Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Income Support plus Disability Premium
Housing Benefit plus Disability Premium
Council Tax Benefit plus Disability Premium
War Disablement Pension plus Mobility Supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit plus Constant Attendance Allowance


Child-related benefits

In order to qualify under these criteria, the client must have a child under 16 or a Mat B1 certificate and receive one of the following:

Income Support
Housing Benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
Pension Credit

60 years and Over benefits

Housing Benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
Pension Credit

These are the only benefits that will qualify the client for the Warmer Front Grant.

The following are not qualifying benefits:
• Council Tax 25% off/Single Person Rebate
• Child Benefit
• Incapacity Benefit
• State Pension
