Solar Electricity from Dyson Insulations
How does it work?
Solar PV systems convert light energy into electricity, this electricity is fed straight into the existing electricity system of the dwelling and is used in exactly the same way as normal to power lights and all your appliances giving you FREE electricity and reducing the carbon footprint.
Solar PV systems use the solar gain from the sun and so provide a truly renewable form of energy There are no moving parts, no circulating fluids and no ongoing maintenance. Once installed the electricity generated is entirely cost FREE and produces no carbon dioxide or any other greenhouse gases.
Solar PV is particularly effective at saving carbon, the reason being is that ever unit of electricity produced by a Solar PV system instead of a conventional power station generated electricity saves over half a kilogram of carbon dioxide emissions.
Now with the introduction of the Feed in Tariffs not only is the electricity you use during daylight hours Free you get paid for producing it and an surplus that is feed into the grid.
How does it work?
The Solar PV panels contain photovoltaic cells which semiconductor devices that convert solar gain directly into electricity. Most Solar PV systems installed are grid connected which means that the output is fed directly into and synchronised with the dwelling existing mains supply.
On a sunny day the power generated by the system reduces the amount of electricity that needs to be purchased from the power supplier. On days when the power produced is greater than the needs of the dwelling (appliances not being used) the surplus will exported out into the grid.
